What Artos is
Artos is a budget app. It reads a bank screenshot or a PDF statement, suggests a category for each row, and shows where the month went. It is free, and it does not connect to your bank.
Accounts and data
The Artos app for iPhone and Android has no account and no login. Your transactions, accounts, budgets and categories stay in a database on your phone. You can delete them in the app: open You, then Delete all data. The privacy page says what leaves the phone, what our server keeps and for how long.
Statement files
Our server processes screenshots and PDFs in memory and releases them when the read finishes. It does not store them, whether the read works or not. The privacy page says what Anthropic, which reads them, can keep.
This website
This website sets no tracking cookie. If you pick a language, a cookie remembers that choice for a year. When you tap an App Store button, our server adds one to a count for that button and that day. The count keeps no IP address and nothing else about you. Page visits are counted with Umami, which sets no cookies.
No warranty
Artos is provided as-is. Categories are suggestions. Totals can be wrong. We do not promise fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted service, or that a read will always succeed. You remain responsible for your own money.
